Aussies offered mobile charging on the move

Finding out that your smartphone has just two per cent of battery power left when you are far from home on a night out in the big city can be a nightmare.
Now that mobile web access, video making and navigating are commonplace, handset batteries can be quickly depleted - and unless you carry your charger around with you, you could end up being unable to contact friends and family.
Unless you are in Sydney that is.
Brothers Jonathan and Cameron Tanner have started a revolution - they are installing free at the point of use charge bars across Australia's most cosmopolitan city so that revellers never have to do without Facebook, YouTube and Google Maps.
As well as in bars and shopping centres, the brothers have a contract with Sydney Ferries - which will see their charge bars cropping up on the manly route.
"Venue owners have been amazed by the foot traffic from new and return customers off the street who come in just to use their Chargebar," Mr Tanner told the Australian.
