Trade in mobile to take advantage of O2 price structure
Trading in an old mobile with Mazuma could free up mobile phone users to sign a contract with O2.
The handset provider has today (June 10th) announced a range of new tariffs, designed to make its pricing strategy more transparent to consumers.
People with a need to know exactly how much they will be paying each month may find the clear charging structure a particular benefit.
"We know that customers are looking for clarity in pricing as too many offers have clauses and catches [that] are not easy to understand," noted Ronan Dunne, chief executive officer at O2.
However, under the new tariffs, 97 per cent of current customers with the firm will not need to pay more on top of their monthly contract fee.
The move may be especially popular with data roaming users who are often unaware of the financial implications of browsing the net.
Earlier this week, it was announced new laws set by the European Court of Justice will force mobile operators to cut their prices by up to 70 per cent for those who use a mobile abroad this summer.
