Mobile phone recycling: Pizza Hut launches first ordering app for Windows P

People will soon be able to order their pizzas from an online app specifically for users of the Windows Phone operating system.

Pizza Hut Australia's new app was developed by Altaine and reaffirms its position in the country's market with the company investing significantly in its online ordering business.

This follows the introduction of McDonald's Australia's mobile phone app that is being trialled in the country to see how many people will order their food while on the move.

Head of marketing and food innovation at Pizza Hut Australia Anup Jain said mobile phone orders currently account for 25 per cent of Pizza Hut's online sales and they hope this continues in the future.

Nokia's head of developer experience Nick Abbott added: "Nokia is working closely with Microsoft and the developer community to build a vibrant ecosystem giving Nokia users access to the top, branded apps such as the Pizza Hut app."
