NRL and AFL could be on all Aussie mobiles

It is thought that Telstra and Vodafone could be looking to follow the lead of Optus and show coverage of the NRL and AFL on their mobile phones if court action against the firm comes to nothing.
The Federal Court ruled on Wednesday that Optus was not in breach of the law by providing its phone customers with close-to-live broadcasts via its TV Now service.
A Telstra insider told The Australian yesterday (February 2nd) that the company would have little option but to provide a similar service if an appeal from the AFL and NRL doesn't get the Federal Court's decision overturned.
"There is a long way to play out. It's going to appeal. And I think there's a lot of people watching this decision because I think everybody is starting to understand the ramifications," said AFL boss Andrew Demetriou.
People in Australia may be able to watch the sports on a Nokia Lumia 800, which will be released in the country in March.
