Images allegedly showing the soon-to-be-released BlackBerry Z10 mobile phone have been leaked online, alongside rumours of a premium price tag.
Pictures released by Twitter user @evleaks show a gadget similar to the BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha gadget, which was released for app developers to work with.
A sleek and slim black design is showcased, sporting a front-facing camera for video calls and physical side buttons seemingly for volume control.
An apparent database leak from the Carphone Warehouse in the UK, which was spotted by Engadget, suggests a SIM-free price tag of £479.95.
This could translate to around $660 in Australia, so the mobile phone is likely to rival high-end handsets like the Apple iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3.
The full touch-screen device is likely to be showcased on January 30th, when Research in Motion (RIM) is scheduled to unveil its new BlackBerry 10 (BB10) software.
Leaks and previews concerning the imminent operating system demonstrate some exciting innovations, such as an advanced voice control feature.
