One of the most famous movie production companies in the world, Lucasfilm Ltd, has collaborated with successful mobile phone game developers Rovio Entertainment to create Angry Birds Star Wars.
Angry Birds is a physics-based game in which players are required to fire birds at pigs to gain points.
In the latest spin-off, Bad Piggies, the green animals become the protagonist. The game, which was released on September 27th, requires players to build vehicles to safely carry the pigs across a finish line.
However, the Star Wars version looks set to retain the original's gameplay, but the feathery friends will have makeovers akin to the famous sci-fi characters.
Levels will also be set in familiar places, like the Death Star and the deserts of Tatooine.
Angry Birds Star Wars will be available to Apple iOS, Windows Phone and Android customers. This means that the vast majority of tech-lovers will be able to start playing on November 8th.
