Those who join the network Telstra will find they have access to the next phase of its Mobility Partner Program.
This is a mobile-based tool that allows people to search for technology solutions at the touch of a button.
Businesses can take advantage of it too, by presenting their offerings and potentially driving sales and brand awareness.
Mike Cihra, director of machine-to-machine and partners at Telstra, said: “The Mobility Partner Program has seen great growth across its first year, with 144 partners signed up, currently promoting more than 130 different solutions.”
A recent study by PayPal, Forrester Research, Nielsen and the Australian Centre for Retail Studies revealed that online shopping is set to surge in popularity in Australia over the coming years, growing to AUS$37.7 billion (£24.3 billion) by 2013.
