Britons who use this week as a chance to trade in a mobile may have the opportunity to replace it with a white Apple iPad 2.
The device is rumoured to be on its way to the market and Apple may be preparing to launch it in the next few days, states Stuart Dredge, author of a piece for CNET UK.
Although it remains unclear how many will be available – and there have been reports of production problems – the chance to get their hands on a white iPad 2 may be a tempting prospect for thousands of consumers.
“What's not clear is whether this will be a limited-edition model, with the bulk of iPad 2s keeping the current black frontage, or whether Apple is switching to white models entirely,” explains Mr Dredge.
Apple launched the original iPad last April and the iPhone 4 last June – and is thought to be lining up new releases of both models in 2011.
