People planning to buy a new home in the near future may find the use of an Apple iPhone helps them considerably.
Mark King, writing for the Guardian, nominating its Consumer App of the Week, hands the award to Mortgage Assistant, which claims it offers assistance in a number of ways to property buyers.
Firstly, the tool can be used as a mortgage calculator, while it also provides the latest and best rates available on the market and stringent affordability checks.
Independent mortgage broker London & Country has developed and launched the app, with all the advice contained on it totally free to users.
“For those ready to buy a home it should prove to be a useful mobile mortgage checker which, when coupled with Rightmove or Zoopla, puts a large part of the homebuying process in your pocket,” states Mr King.
The iPhone 4 – the newest incarnation of the model – was released in the UK last June.
