Australian stores expect to receive the HTC One on Tuesday (April 23rd), but rumours are now circulating about when the company's lower-end mobile phone will arrive.
According to Digitimes, the suppliers of the metal-alloy case believe the device will be shipping 700,000 units sometime between now and June. It is expected this would be just before an official launch, but there has been no official statement from the manufacturer or mobile phone company.
The HTC M4 is expected to sport modest specifications with a 4.3-inch screen, a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage.
However, it has been rumoured that the delay between the One and M4 has been because the company wants to include an Ultrapixel rear camera for the upcoming device and we already know this caused delay for the One because of sourcing issues.
Google is also supposed to be launching another version of the Nexus 4 this winter, which could see it in direct competition with the HTC device.
