HTC Myst could be new Facebook smartphone

Rumours suggest that a new mobile phone dedicated to Facebook, called the HTC Myst, could be unveiled soon.

Twitter user @evleaks claims that a “previously reliable source” has leaked specifications concerning this upcoming handset.

Owners will be able to get their social networking fix on a 4.3-inch screen, meaning there is plenty of space for enjoying friends' photographs.

Users will be able to take their own shots thanks to the five-megapixel camera, and a 1.6-megapixel front-facing snapper will facilitate well-framed self-portraits.

Inclusion of the Android Jelly Bean operating system alongside a 1.5 GHz processor and 1 GB of RAM should ensure speedy and smooth performance.

This means that buyers should be able to post status updates and check out their timeline without delay, especially over a Wi-Fi internet connection.

During the fourth quarter, the average number of monthly Facebook users was 1.06 billion, so there is a huge customer base that will potentially be attracted to the HTC Myst.
