A rumour has indicated that the HTC One mobile phone may be released in Australia before the end of April, according to Ausdroid.net.
Although no official word has been given from the company about a launch date, the digitally-aware site has been advised that the smartphone could reach Australia on April 23rd.
Pricing or plan information has yet to be released, but it is likely that that will be available soon.
It appears that the first carrier to get the new device may be Telstra, but it is expected to come to more networks and carriers eventually.
It also seems likely that like the UK, Australians will only be able to get their hands on the quad-core version and not the octa-core.
The company has confirmed that delays have been due to issues sourcing the camera.
