Apple has now confirmed that people will be able to place their orders for the iPhone 5S on September 20th, which is just a matter a days away.
The company unveiled its pair of handsets last week and opened pre-orders for the affordable iPhone 5C shortly after. However, users have been waiting around for the Cupertino manufacturer to announce when online orders would be available for the flagship iPhone 5S.
Apple will open sales for the flagship handset on the US Apple Online Store at 12:01 a.m. PT (5:01 pm Melbourne time) next Friday, September 20th. Stores will start selling the device on September 21st at 8am PT.
However, for non-American users, it's still unclear when the device will launch in Apple stores in Australia.
American customers can pick up the iPhone 5S for $199 with a two-year contract or $649 on its own for 16GB of storage. In Australia a SIM-free model will cost users $869.
