Kazam has released an octa-core mobile phone, allowing users to have all the power at just a fraction of the cost. The firm announced the new line at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014 in Barcelona.
Kazam's Tornado 2 5.5 comes with a 1.7Ghz octa-core processor, a 5.5-inch IPS touchscreen and a 13-megapixel camera, while a five-megapixel shooter sits on the front. The Kazam Tornado 5 brings a smaller screen size but with very similar specifications, along with eight-megapixel and two-megapixel cameras.
In an odd move, the manufacturer has released both handsets with Android 4.2, rather than the latest version of the operating system.
Earlier rumours said that a pair of Android handsets would come from Kazam to be released in the second half of 2014. However, the firm has not yet confirmed when or where the smartphones will go.
