LG Arena “fully loaded” with multimedia features
The new LG Arena is packed full of multimedia features and is unlike any other mobile phone in the market, according to a company spokesman.
Dr Skott Ahn, president and chief executive of LG Electronics’ mobile communications division, suggested that the “groundbreaking” 3D S-Class UI is what sets the device apart from its market rivals, allowing users to interact with their multimedia handset like never before.
“With rich 3D graphics, touch sensitivity and exciting multimedia capabilities, it will truly make Arena a fully loaded multimedia phone,” he remarked.
The menu for the phone is in the shape of a cube, which allows users to access photographs, music and films through a touchscreen.
LG claims that it was designed specifically “to be a more fun and engaging gateway”.
The phone will be showcased at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2009 in Barcelona, along with Samsung‘s latest effort, the Tocco Ultra Edition.
