Mega Nokia could land next year

As more manufacturers release bigger and bigger mobile phones, it's no real shock that Nokia would want to have a go themselves.

However, these rumours aren't from any official sources, but Digitimes, which claims some unnamed industry sources have revealed Nokia's intentions for 2014, which includes its own attempt at a phablet.

With the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Huawei Ascend Mate and the Samsung Galaxy Mega, any future device from the Finnish company would have plenty of competition in the super-sized smartphone market.

Although the firm would have to do something different to be noticed against its rivals, it would be a significant move for a company that has given no indication that it is planning to release its own brand of tablet unlike a lot of its competitors.

Nokia is expected to be planning a gigantic 6.5-inch smartphone, which would make other mega smartphones look tiny, if it's true of course.
