The mobile manufacturer announced today (March 3rd) that Skype is available to download as a free application from its popular Ovi Store and will be compatible with devices running the latest version of Symbian.
Skype will also be synchronised with the handset’s phone book, meaning that contacts are simple to transfer and begin calling for free.
“With Skype for Nokia smartphones, more than 200 million smartphone users worldwide will be able to take the Skype features they love with them on the move,” said Russ Shaw, general manager for mobile at Skype.
He added that by allowing consumers easier access to Skype, millions of people will be able to speak freely with the people that are important to them and not worry about about the costs.
Mobile recycling could provide you with cash to put towards purchasing a new handset.
