Mobile phone enthusiasts who have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Nokia N8 have moved a step closer to getting their hands on the device.
That is because the Finnish brand has started to invite people to pre-order the handset, allowing them to become among the first to receive it when it goes on sale.
With the phone set for release on September 30th, consumers still have time if they wish to get to the front of the queue.
Reasons for selecting the Nokia N8, possibly after trading-in an old mobile phone, include the provision of a 12-megapixel camera and a device that allows updates and alerts from social networking sites to be shown together.
A free sat nav service is also provided, via the company's Ovi Maps feature, as is the latest video-recording technology.
In recent weeks Nokia has also unveiled its new 5250 model, which may be the choice of some people.
