A new game has been launched for handsets such as the Nokia N95 that encourages players to get up on their feet.
Dance fabulous challenges gamers with handsets equipped with the manufacturer’s N-Gage platform to create and choreograph a series of moves and synch them up with music from their phone.
In addition, players can keep track of their points and connect to other fans of the title using the system’s N-Gage Arena service – where they can also add their own customisable avatar.
Nokia explained that the project was part of a collaborative effort between Interscope Records – which is a subsidiary of Universal Music Group – and former Eurythmics star Dave Stewart.
Director of X-Media Solutions at the firm Mark Ollila said: “Dance Fabulous is a music game where players can use any music they have stored on their mobile device and download more of their favourite songs from the Nokia Music Store.”
Pocket Gamer previewed Dance fabulous in February and concluded it was “shaping up to be a title that will appeal to plenty of people”.
