New LG Gx emerges

A new LG mobile phone has appeared online and it looks to be much bigger than handsets released by the company before.

According to Pocket Droid, LG is planning a handset that will tower over the 4.7-inch displays seen on the LG Optimus G. The new device is referred to as the LG Gx and will come sporting a 5.5-inch full-HD screen.

This makes it significantly larger than the LG Optimus G and will even tower over the 5.2-inch LG G2. In fact, it will be the exact same size as the LG Optimus Pro that the Korean manufacturers previously released.

Although confirmed specs are still unknown, the LG Gx seems to be a much more powerful handset than we have seen from the company before.

Leaked details suggest the device will bring a Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB RAM, 13-megapixel camera and 32GB of internal storage, all powered by a whopping 3,140mAh battery.

It's highly possible we will see the LG Gx pop up at the CES 2014 at the start of January.
