Australian consumers may find that Nokia's decision to launch two phones makes it the perfect time to sell mobiles and invest in the new devices, once they are released down under.
The Finnish brand this week confirmed the Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 handsets are to hit the shelves shortly and will become the first Nokia designs to be powered by Windows Phone.
It used the Nokia World conference to confirm the releases, stating the mobiles are stylish and smart.
Stephen Elop, president and chief executive officer at Nokia, said: “We are bringing compelling new products to the market faster than ever before. I'm incredibly proud of these new devices – and the people of Nokia who have made this happen.”
The Nokia Lumia 800 is said to boast a “head-turning” design that allows content to be brought to life.
Earlier this month, the Nokia 603 was launched and described by the company as a daring model.
