One of the latest handsets to boast music facilities may interest those with old mobile phones who do not use 3G, it has been suggested.
In an article posted on the Mobile Burn website this week, Ricky Cadden looked at the entry-level alternative to the Nokia 5800 – the 5530 XpressMusic – and noted it may be ideal for those with simpler needs.
Although high-speed web connectivity was one area where the device was lacking, he noted that the touchscreen model had more than enough features to compensate when taking the price into consideration.
“Call quality is quite nice, too,” Mr Cadden concluded. “I was also able to hear exceptionally well through the 5530’s earpiece.”
The comments follow a review posted on the Crave website last month that also singled out the affordability and user experience of the device.
According to the portal’s Frank Lewis, the model is “relatively easy to navigate using the touchscreen”.
