Announced by the Finnish group ahead of this week’s Nokia World event at the Messe Center in Stuttgart, the model features the Comes With Music option that has appeared on handsets like the 5800 XpressMusic in the past.
In addition, the firm has claimed buyers – which could include those recycling old mobile phones – can expect up to 35 hours of playback on a single charge, as well as 32 GB of on-board memory and a 3.2-inch touchscreen.
Jo Harlow, vice-president of the company, said: “The Nokia X6 and Comes With Music is a powerful combination, enabling music fans to download all the music they could ever want – quickly, easily and for free.”
The X3 was also announced this week, which comes with stereo speakers, an integrated FM radio and a 3.2-megapixel camera.
