Nokia’s Ovi Store has a number of different features such as Ovi Files and Ovi Mail which many mobile phone customers may be unaware of.
A blog on Nokia Conversations noted Ovi Mail is available for new and old devices, although people might still want to recycle their old mobile phones to upgrade to a newer smartphone.
Ovi Mail is secure as it has built-in spam and anti-virus protection, while contacts are synced and no software is required as everything needed is already on the mobile phone.
It is designed for all screen sizes, from the larger Nokia N97 to the smaller Nokia C3.
Having such a facility while on the go could prove to be invaluable to companies. A recent poll by Orange and YouGov found 85 per cent of entrepreneurs think communications technology such as mobile phones help with running a business from home and creating a more flexible working day.
“Ovi Files lets you have your docs spread between both your phone and your PC. Edit or amend something on the go and it’ll be there on your home computer even if it’s switched off,” the blog stated.
