Optus announced last week that it would be carrying the Samsung Galaxy Express and the mobile phone will be available in-store, online and via telesales from today (Monday June 3rd).
The LTE-enabled device is predominantly aimed at a mid-range audience and its specifications largely reflect that.
As well as offering Samsung's Touchwiz features it also sports a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, five-megapixel camera, 8GB internal memory, microSD card slot and a 1.3-megapixel rear-camera all powered by a 2,000 mAh battery.
Optus is making the device available to customers for AU$35 per month with a AU$7 handset repayment also added on every month. Alternatively, it is offering the Samsung Galaxy Express with no monthly repayment on a AU$50 monthly plan.
The phone is now available from the Optus website.
