Fans of the O2 network operator will be able to choose a tariff for the Palm Pre Plus when the company begins offering the handset at the end of the month.
With a full-body touchscreen, easy-to-use keyboard and compatibility with the Touchstone Charging Dock, the phone also provides an intuitive operating system designed for use with the internet in the form of Palm’s webOS.
Customers can also take advantage of 16MB of internal memory, Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth 2.1 and a light sensor, which saves battery life by dimming the display in low-light conditions.
Jon Rubinstein, chairman and chief executive officer of Palm, said: “With the choice of these two new Palm webOS phones, customers across the UK can stay connected, so they never miss a thing.”
The handset will be available from May 28th.
O2 recently revealed its Simplicity on Pay and Go tariffs, which provide value options for customers seeking a sim-only deal with unlimited text message allowances.
