Britons could be tempted to sell mobile phones and put the funds towards a Nokia N8, after it was revealed the model is now available in pink.

Adam, writing for Nokia Conversations, said the bright shade joins green, blue and black as colours in which the phone is produced.

He assured users the “insides” of the handset remain the same, with its 12-megapixel camera and HD video recorder untouched.

Commenting on the range of tones, Rachael Bell, senior designer at Nokia, said: “It seemed a natural step to extend this choice. The Nokia N8 in pink complements the original line-up well with its expressive, intense hue.”

She went on to remind consumers they will enjoy free Ovi Maps and access to the Ovi Store should they invest in a Nokia N8.

The N8 was released last year alongside the C7, both of which have gone on to be popular choices with users.
