Consumers have the option of thinking of trading in their mobile phones for a new model with Orange the next time they visit the cinema.
That is because the network has released its latest Orange Gold Spots advert specially for the big screen.
Produced by agency Fallon, the advert is the latest in a string of commercials designed to get cinema goers to switch off their phones during films.
In the latest adaptation of the story, the Gold Spot heads to Hollywood for an unexpected tale – with the theme of the clip the same as always: expect the unusual.
“We hope the latest creative raises smiles across the UK – and encourage the audience to switch off their phones, rather than order their curtains while they are watching the film,” said Spencer McHugh, director of brand for Orange UK.
It could also get people to contemplate their own next mobile purchase, perhaps from those that appear in the adverts.
Earlier this week, rival network T-Mobile carried out a prank that saw Britons receive cash prizes disguised as parking tickets.
