A new release from Orange could be an option for those who decide to trade-in a mobile this winter.
Flora Graham, reviewing the Orange San Francisco for CNET UK, says it is a powerful model that has a number of advantages over its rivals.
One of these is a touchscreen with high capacity and good responsiveness, which could be used by owners to navigate around the phone's various apps and features.
“We'd like to give Orange a big hug for bringing us a decent-looking, powerful Android phone with a capacitive touchscreen for under £100 on a pay as you go deal,” Ms Graham states.
Other benefits include the “feature-packed” Android 2.1 operating system and, as the author alluded to, a bargain price that may be enough to tempt many buyers.
In another recent piece, Ms Graham praised the Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 for being an affordable way to join the Android revolution.
