Rumours suggest that it is not just the Samsung Galaxy S4 that will expand the South Korean manufacturer's impressive high-end mobile phone portfolio this year.
The company's next-generation phablet, the Galaxy Note 3, could be released in the second half of 2013, according to a report in the Korea Times.
It could feature a considerable 5.9-inch screen – mobile phone display sizes have been swelling in light of demand for a superior multimedia experience from customers.
Owners should be able to enjoy video, books and gaming content from Google Play, as it is likely that the Android operating system will be included.
Currently featuring in the virtual store's charts are Oscar-winning movie Argo, best-selling novel The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and popular EA game Plants vs Zombies.
An anonymous source also told the newspaper than Samsung's new Exynos 5 Octa processor, which was showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2013, will be included.
