More people could be selling mobile phones in the UK in order to switch to the Samsung Galaxy S II than any other handset.
That is because, according to research by uSwitch.com, the device is the most popular of all among Britons.
Compiling the figures for June, the site found the Samsung model to once again be top of the pile, followed by a number of HTC products.
Indeed, HTC filled six of the remaining positions in the top ten favourite mobile phones for the month.
Ernest Doku, technology expert at uSwich.com, said: “The powerful and flexible Samsung Galaxy S II remains on top as networks and retailers continue to offer a number of strong mobile deals.”
Those who prioritise the operating system when selling mobiles and switching to a new device may be keen to note that Android powers eight of the top ten models.
Nokia recently announced the launch of the N9, which could soon be making an impact on the chart.
