Samsung's latest flagship mobile phone, the Galaxy S4, is set to be the company's most successful model of the range so far.
One of the firm's chief executive's Shin Jong-kyun has made the bold statement of saying the manufacturer is confident that it will exceed ten million units sold by the end of the week.
If this comes to fruition it will make the Samsung Galaxy S4 the Korean manufacturer's fastest selling smartphone ever.
So far it has been released across 60 countries. On April 27th it surpassed its predecessor in terms of sales, but still doesn't quite keep up with the iPhone 5, which managed to sell five million units in its first weekend of release.
The Galaxy S4 has definitely managed to sustain Samsung's position in the smartphone market and made it more of an attractive buy for users which can only be positive for Android devices as a whole.
