Samsung Galaxy S5 gets February release date

Samsung may have only just released its flagship mobile phone – the Galaxy S4 – but rumours have already started to surface about when its next device may arrive.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is rumoured to arrive in February 2014, which isn't too far out from the March date that had been indicated in reports previously. According to the Korean Joseilbo, the launch for the smartphone has been brought forward because the Galaxy S4 isn't selling as many as it had predicted.

Although the handset it still largely unknown, that hasn't stopped a number of rumours from appearing. However, we're probably quite far away from getting a confirmed release date or price.

You can expect that the next handset from Samsung will set you back as much as its predecessors have, if not more. The Samsung Galaxy S4 cost more than £600, so you may want to get saving now.
