Samsung handset to run Windows Phone?

Earlier in the week we heard that Samsung was planning to release at least four, maybe five, new mobile phones during the first half of 2014. However, a new leak suggests that one of the company's future handsets could run Microsoft's Windows Phone, though probably not as soon as next year.

A listing for a handset appeared on Zauba.com with the model number SM-W750V. The details suggest that the five-inch device is running Windows Phone and would cost 33,245 rupee (£330).

However, other information suggests that a possible Windows-Samsung handset could be a thing of the future, rather than something that will turn up next year. The listing shows that there will be two shipments; one with 25 units and the other with two. This means that its likely to be for research and development purposes or testing rather than for commercial sale.

At the moment, Samsung hasn't announced that it is teaming up with Windows Phone but it could be a possibility in the future.
