Save a third on phone bill by selling mobile and using Orange

Consumers have been advised that selling a mobile and moving to Orange for a new contract could help them to save a third on their monthly bill.

The network has confirmed that it has been chosen by MoneySupermarket as its preferred mobile provider, after it was found to offer the chance to slash 32 per cent from invoices.

In return for the link-up, Orange will give the price comparison site 120 mobiles for the use of its employees.

These will include the BlackBerry Torch 9800 and Business Sense 7000, which are ideal for commercial activities.

“Orange has made it quick and easy for us to add new employees on to the network and for every new connection we take on, we get a free BlackBerry device,” explained Andrew Ryder, telecoms specialist at MoneySupermarket.

The network recently announced it had teamed up with Barclaycard to launch the Samsung Wave 578, which comes with contactless payment technology.
