People who take holidays on their own may find plenty of useful material from a new app designed for mobile phone users.
Friendship Travel is a tool that allows people to discuss good places to go, recommended activities and suitable places to eat, drink and stay, reports Breaking Travel News.
There are even embedded videos of popular destinations for singletons to browse before they commit to a booking.
The feature has been developed by a travel provider of the same name, which specialises in offering breaks to those on their own, the online publication explains.
Other videos available to those with an Apple iPhone who download the app include those made by travellers and often feature them talking about their experiences.
Some consumers may even find they can hook up with other jet-setters thanks to the mobile phone technology.
Apple's iPhone 4 – the newest incarnation of the series – was released in the UK in June.
