Sony has managed to blur the lines further between mobile phone and tablet with the massive 6.4-inch Xperia Z Ultra.
The phablet comes with a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage, but all that power comes at a great cost – €719 in fact.
With current conversions that makes it around AU$1012, which really does put it firmly in the tablet arena.
Incredibly the handset measures just 6.5mm and weighs 212 grams, which is fairly decent to say it also packs a 3,000mAh battery, microSD slot and an eight-megapixel camera. It also comes with the same waterproof and dustproof claims that its predecessor had.
However, whether all this is worth more than AU$1000 remains to be decided, although a release date of when it will reach Australia is still yet to be announced.
