Sony's upcoming Yuga phone could usurp the Samsung Galaxy S3 in terms of screen size by boasting a five-inch display.
Images of the device, which is also known as the C6603, have appeared online on the Swiss website Android-Schweiz.
It is reported that the full-HD display will boast a resolution of 1920 x 1080, and the smartphone will come with Android 4.1.1 on board. A 12MP camera is going to let users take some stunning snaps, while the 1.5GHz quad-core processor should be fast enough for multi-tasking and running the most demanding of applications.
Sony's current flagship product is its Xperia T, but it has struggled against the competition in the shape of the iPhone 4S/iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3.
It is expected that the Yuga will be released next year, and it could be officially unveiled at CES 2013 or MWC in Barcelona. It remains to be seen whether Samsung and Apple will have new devices to show off at this time too.
