Four new mobile phone handsets are to be launched by car manufacturer Spyker, it has been revealed.
The Dutch company, which is perhaps best known for its 2007 Formula One team, looks set to release the devices later this year.
A series of photographs containing the handsets appeared on the Mobile Phone Helpdesk website earlier this week.
The shots appear to show that all of the mobiles bear Spyker’s name on the front and a company logo on the back.
This week Spyker claimed that its products are “the ultimate statement of individuality”.
It is not known how much its mobiles will cost, but it is possible that they will adhere to the company’s mandate of providing hand-crafted technology, created with bespoke materials.
Spyker is not the first sports car manufacturer to enter the mobile phone sector. Handsets bearing the Ferrari and Porsche logos are also available in the marketplace.
