The network announced this week it would launch a new package that looked to make Research In Motion’s range of devices more accessible to the public.
It was noted that the BlackBerry Pearl 8110 smartphone is to be featured in its line of pay-as-you-go mobile phones with a price tag of £179.99.
However, the carrier is including one year’s unlimited email and internet access as part of this deal for no extra cost.
Richard Warmsley, head of internet and entertainment at T Mobile UK, said the package offers an “affordable” way for consumers to take advantage of the popularity of the brand.
“Now customers have a grab-and-go quality BlackBerry solution that means they don’t have to think about the cost of using email and internet services for 12 months,” he added.
The device is also available on Orange’s pay-as-you-go tariffs.
