Now is the time to trade in a mobile phone for those who would like to upgrade to Apple's latest tablet device, the iPad 2.
The US manufacturer has confirmed the second generation of its popular model will hit the shelves in some 25 countries tomorrow (March 25th).
With a design that is 33 per cent thinner and 15 per cent lighter than the first incarnation of the handset, the new iPad may be a winner with consumers.
Steve Jobs, chief executive officer at Apple, said: “Customers around the world have told us they can't wait to get their hands on it. We appreciate everyone's patience and we are working hard to build enough iPads for everyone.”
He added the firm is so advanced in the tablet market that many of its rivals are still struggling to design a product as good as the original iPad.
Apple released the first model of its tablet range in April last year.
