When trading in a mobile phone at the current time, one of the most popular options for a replacement may come from the portfolio offered by BlackBerry.
Research in Motion (RIM), which is responsible for the manufacture of the brand's devices, has claimed BlackBerry's popularity is on the rise.
Patrick Spence, managing director of global sales and regional marketing at RIM, said there has been “great growth” around the world in recent times.
This is backed up by the 67 per cent year-on-year expansion recorded recently, which he put down to the increasing desire to own a BlackBerry model.
“As I look at it I think it is a story of the entire globe really picking up on the benefits of Blackberry, both for business users and consumers at the same time,” Mr Spence stated.
News of the UK release of the BlackBerry Bold 9900 was recently announced, with Phones 4u confirming it will offer the handset from August 18th.
