People who trade in mobile phones may put themselves in a good position to enjoy the new broadband offering from Three.
The network has confirmed that its Mobile Broadband Wi-Fi Hub (ZTE MF10 Dongle Adapter) will soon be available to customers.
With the technology, they will be able to share an internet connection with up to five devices.
“The [adapter] is a fantastic addition to Three's range of mobile broadband devices, offering people the flexibility of being able to create a Wi-Fi hotspot making their existing dongle even more useful,” explained David Kerrigan, head of mobile broadband at Three.
The solution is one that could appeal to sociable consumers, as they will be able to offer friends and relatives broadband via a Wi-Fi connection within their homes.
BT recently revealed that one of the major drivers of internet use in recent times was Apple's launch of the new iPhone 4S.
