Anybody thinking of selling their mobile phones in order to switch to a brand new device might believe now is the perfect time, after Nokia released a trio of its latest handsets.

The Finnish brand has confirmed the launch of the Nokia 700, Nokia 701 and Nokia 600 smartphones, all of which offer the latest Symbian technology.

Indeed, it is the hi-tech operating system that is one of the undoubted highlights of all three models.

However, the design of each has been altered to reflect the target market it is appealing to, with the 600 said to be the best for entertainment.

“The handsets we are launching today show our commitment to continue delivering Symbian products that allow people to choose what is most important to them in terms of user experience, design, functionality and price,” said Ilari Nurmi, vice-president of Nokia.

Research in Motion – manufacturer of all BlackBerry models – this week confirmed it too is launching three new phones.
