Vodafone has recorded more positive results in terms of mobile phone consumer satisfaction, according to the latest industry investigation.
According to a study by Roy Morgan Research, the network enjoyed a second consecutive rise in the amount of happy users.
In the six months to October, it was found that 62 per cent of Vodafone customers over the age of 14 were either 'very' or 'fairly' satisfied with the service they received.
This came at the same time as some of its major rivals – including Virgin, 3 and Telstra – recorded declines in consumer happiness.
“Recently Vodafone has been heavily marketing their brand and promoting their improved network coverage,” Andrew Braun, director of mobile, internet and technology at the research body, said.
The Australian Communications and Media Authority recently revealed figures that showed more mobile phones are being snapped up, with more handsets than people now said to exist in the nation.
