Vodafone has announced it has launched a new handset from the Research In Motion range of devices that is among the most affordable in the UK.
The network unveiled the BlackBerry 8520 would be the latest addition to its line up of handsets and took the opportunity to point out the fact the model had a host of options that would appeal to both consumers and professionals.
Equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity and 16 GB of onboard storage, the gadget also features an integrated media player and 3.5mm headphone socket – which could make it tempting for music lovers.
Those who like to take pictures on the go may also like to know the 8520 comes with a two-megapixel camera that offers video recording, as well as a 2 GB memory card.
RIM said earlier this week that the newest addition to the BlackBerry range is “an incredibly approachable smartphone” that is simple to use.
It is available now on Vodafone’s 24-month contracts for free with a tariff of £25.
