Owners of high-end mobile phones in Australia should take advantage of an offer by Skype, which will allow them to make free phone calls.
Those who own devices like the Apple iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy S3 or HTC One X can download the company's application if they have not already done so.
The tool can be installed to compatible mobile phones for free from application centres like the App Store and Google Play.
Existing customers of the Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service in Australia will then be able to take advantage of a special offer, which provides the user with free calls for a month.
Mobile owners should go to the Skype website before November 15th to claim the deal, and then they will be able to make calls to phones around the globe for free whenever connected to the internet.
However, those who use the service over a telecommunications network should be wary of any data usage caps.
