How to Check the Battery Capacity on your iPhone or Apple Watch

We are all aware the battery capacity of our smartphones and smartwatches starts to diminish from the moment we begin to use them. This means the length of time you can use your smartphone or smartwatch before it needs to be recharged will also start to reduce.

  1. On your iPhone, go to “Settings”
  2. Select “Battery”
  3. Select “Battery Health”.


This screen will show the Maximum Capacity as a percentage that represents the health of your battery.

Therefore, if you intend on selling your smartphone or smartwatch and receiving a higher price, then it is advisable to keep an eye on the health of your battery and to sell it before the battery capacity drops too low.
